Yeah! This weeks groceries are FREE! Well, half-price...and that half was paid for a few months ago. So, free to me this week, anyway! Thanks to a coupon from groupon.com I will have this week's menu items delivered to me by CobornsDelivers. $50 worth of groceries for only $25! Can't beat that!

Back from a wonderful, snow-filled Christmas.

Now it's almost supper time and it doesn't look like anyone else around here is planning on cooking anything, so I guess I better come up with something :)

Woops! I forgot again! We did eat last week. It's been a little crazy around here with end of the year and Christmas festivities. It's all fun though. Here's this week's meals.

It's a short menu week here. We will be traveling to spend Thanksgiving with Tony's family in Wadena, MN. Can't wait for the all the yummy food!

So here's what's cookin' pre-Thanksgiving.

deep dish pizza/apple pie
broccoli soup/grilled cheese (my kids actually requested broccoli soup, weird!)
something on the road between here and Wadena. (I'd place my bets on Culvers or Subway.)

This was the fastest weekend. Deer hunting flew by. Probably because we usually stay till Monday, but this year with 2 in school and one without anymore vacation days, we came home Sunday night.

That means today is back to the regular Monday routine. Kids are off to school, hubby's off to work, groceries are bought, meals are planned. Here's what I'll be fixin.

It's cold and rainy. Definitely fall-ish. I love the change of seasons and the recipes that change with them. More soups and stews and hearty dishes are on their way.

ribs on the grill/corn on the cob/broccoli on the plate (it had to be on somethin' too)

baked tacos/rice/beans (been trying to have this for 3 weeks now, we'll see if it makes it this week)
parmesan crusted chicken/tomato,basil topping/parm bread twists (also haven't actually made this one either even though its been on the menu 4 weeks running, we'll see)
